What We Do

From Youth Development Projects, including:

  • A Homeschooling Hub

  • An After School & Holiday SEND Clubs

  • A Youth Council - promoting business, cultural & political insights

  • Residential & European Trips

We offer young people a range of mainly free services to improve upon their social, education & employability skills/knowledge of the world in which they live.

Our Community Work

We offer a range of services designed to empower all families:

Youth Development  & Leadership (YDL)

IMG_4393 (1).jpg

Our Youth Development & leadership programmes focuses on promoting life & employability skills; whilst organising culturally enriching trips for SEND children who often may not experience extra-curriculum excursions.

In the summer, we have built a strong YDL Work and Education Programme to underpin the success of the (HAF) Holiday Club initiative. Our youth playworkers and leaders (aged 12-to 19 -SEND to 25) gain an invaluable insight to the world of work (caring for just under 500 primary-school aged places), whilst making friends and earning pocket money. At our biggest annual YDL initiative, our youth volunteers gain valuable work experience, exposure to inspirational employability and life skills workshops, trips to cultural spaces and innovative businesses for invaluable hands-on experiences

Odd Girl In

The 'Odd Girls In' initiative supports up to 25 neurodivergent, care-experienced, or socially anxious young women. Through a social-therapy club, we provide a safe, non-judgmental space to connect, build confidence, and explore new opportunities.

Young women have enjoyed enriching experiences such as, the Sky Up film writing, acting. directing and producing experience; a trip to Kings Cross, Everyman Canal for an outdoor cinema experience; and a series of inspiring creative, art-based workshops and one-to-one therapeutic mentors. Feedback showed that these young adults felt more optimistic about their futures, valued the practical tools for personal growth. They appreciated the inclusive environment where they could freely express themselves. Workshop guest-led sessions and trips broadened horizons, sparking new ambitions and friendships.

Other Youth Development Programmes - Changing A Generation !

We are creating a movement for change.

Young people, especially with special needs and disabilities (visible & invisible) need to be seen & treated with respect.

We passionately believe, if given the right support and guidance, they can provide 'creative' solutions to our broken world.

Afternoons were spent touring London’s iconic landmarks & places of interest (museums, galleries and libraries). Both student groups bonded, whilst sharing cultural conversations on hobbies, interests & popular culture (music, film, literature & art). With are still organising student exchanges.
